Web design service

What a Website Actually Costs in Singapore.

There is no single price for a website in Singapore, because you are not buying a product — you are buying scope. A brochure site you update yourself and a site your team edits weekly are different builds, and that difference, not the design, is where the money goes. This page explains what actually moves the number, and what Muridle Studio charges.

What actually drives the price

  • Number of pages. A 1–5 page site is a different build from a 20-page one — not five times the design, but five times the content, layout and testing.
  • Whether you can edit it yourself. Adding a CMS is usually the single biggest jump in cost, because the site has to be built as a system rather than as fixed pages.
  • How deep the SEO work goes. Basic setup (titles, descriptions, sitemap) is cheap. Structured data, performance work and a content architecture are not.
  • How custom the design is. A tailored layout costs more than a templated one, and the gap widens with every interactive element.
  • Analytics and tracking. Knowing where enquiries come from means installing and configuring it properly.

What Muridle Studio charges

  • Launch Package — from SGD 688, delivered in 14 days. Mobile-first responsive site, 1–5 tailored pages, basic SEO setup, contact form or lead capture, domain connection and deployment. No CMS, limited scalability. Best for personal brands, small businesses and early-stage ideas.
  • Growth Package — from SGD 3,888, delivered in 4 weeks. Custom conversion-focused UI/UX, CMS integration so you can update it yourself, advanced SEO structure, performance optimisation, analytics and tracking, and a scalable architecture. Best for growing businesses, startups and content-driven brands.
  • You can start with Launch and upgrade to Growth later — the work is not thrown away.

About the PSG grant: what is actually true

  • The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) supports Singapore businesses adopting pre-scoped IT solutions, equipment and consultancy services.
  • It only applies to solutions from pre-approved vendors. You get a quotation from a vendor listed in the official PSG Solution Directory — you cannot apply the grant to any agency you like.
  • Basic eligibility: the business must be registered and operating in Singapore, and the solution must be used in Singapore. Selected solutions additionally require at least 30% local shareholding; consultancy solutions require at least three local employees at the point of application.
  • Applications go through the Business Grants Portal (BGP) and need a Corppass account. You submit the claim on BGP before the claim due date.
  • Support levels and caps change over time, so check grants.gobusiness.gov.sg rather than trusting a figure quoted on an agency's marketing page — including this one.

Questions worth asking before you pay anyone

  • Can I edit the content myself after launch, or do I pay you every time? This single question explains most price gaps between quotes.
  • What happens to the site if we stop working together — do I own the files and the domain?
  • Is SEO included, and what specifically does that mean? 'SEO-friendly' can mean anything from a proper structure to nothing at all.
  • How many rounds of revision are included, and what counts as a revision?
  • What is the timeline, and what do you need from me to hit it? Most delays are content delays, not build delays.

Pricing shown is Muridle Studio's own. Grant information is quoted from the Singapore government's GoBusiness PSG page — always check the official source before assuming eligibility, as scheme details change.

FAQ

Q: How much does a website cost in Singapore?

A: It depends on scope rather than on design alone. At Muridle Studio, the Launch Package starts from SGD 688 for a 1-5 page mobile-first site delivered in 14 days, and the Growth Package starts from SGD 3,888 for a custom, CMS-based site delivered in 4 weeks. The biggest single cost driver is usually whether you need to edit the site yourself.

Q: Why do web design quotes vary so much?

A: Because 'a website' is not one thing. Page count, whether a CMS is included, how deep the SEO work goes, how custom the design is, and whether analytics are properly configured all change the build. Two quotes can differ several times over and both be fair for what they cover.

Q: Can I use the PSG grant for a website in Singapore?

A: Only with a pre-approved vendor. PSG applies to pre-scoped solutions listed in the official PSG Solution Directory, and applications go through the Business Grants Portal with a Corppass account. Your business must be registered and operating in Singapore, and some solutions also require at least 30% local shareholding. Check grants.gobusiness.gov.sg for current details.

Q: How long does it take to build a website?

A: Muridle Studio delivers the Launch Package in 14 days and the Growth Package in 4 weeks. In practice, most timelines slip because of content — copy, photos and approvals — rather than the build itself.

Q: Should I start cheap and upgrade later?

A: It is a reasonable path if your needs are genuinely simple now. At Muridle Studio you can start with the Launch Package and upgrade to Growth when you need a CMS, deeper SEO structure or room to scale.
